Be Independent. Vote Rosser on May 4th.
Islington has two hearts, which don't beat in time. One is Upper st and St Mary's Ward, the other is the Holloway rd and Nags Head. I've been a denizen of Upper st for over 25 years. Not only for it's bars and restaurants, not only for it's bookshops but for the meetings I've attended at the Town Hall. On a sunny evening I can cut down the New River Walk from my home on the Highbury Estate to get the Town Hall. And I'm asking the people of St Mary's ward to send me to the Town Hall to be a voice for them. Certainly, I've banged on a lot about leaseholders but I'm standing on other issues as well and am prepared to take on all the responsibilities of a being a good constituency representative. As an Independent I don't get support from party activists. There aren't scores of party loyalists to go round speaking on doorsteps. I can't draw on party funds to pay for glossy handouts and posters. So, I'm going to ask you to support my campaign in any way you can. Please put up a poster in your window. Maybe you can help print leaflets. I've added links to the various leaflets, see Downloads, below. Perhaps you can invite me to speak at a TRA or Leaseholder meeting. You might invite me simply to visit your neighbourhood to discuss your local issues. Like most of you I'm in full time work and can only make evenings and weekends but if you can make the invitation, I'll respond.
